It’s always a pleasant surprise to arrive at the Courts to see your pickleball friend’s dog, chillin’ out while everyone plays. Thought it would be super fun to introduce this new feature, highlighting our furry friends and companions that love us, no matter how many fly swatters we hit, out balls we went after, and balls we watched drop right down the middle. Kicking off this feature are three fine Hawaii pickleball pet friends...allow me to introduce you to Diego, Ozzy, and Mamo.
Name: Brian Coates and Diego
Breed: Chihuahua - Dachshund
Age: 9 years old
Fun Fact: He’s traveled to Japan, Philippines, and Thailand. His favorite food is French Fries. And of course, he loves greeting people all of the time and loves pickleball. He’ll sit nicely and watch pickleball games without interrupting.
Name: Naomi Oki, Neil Marugame and Ozzy
Breed: Shiba Inu/Chow Chow mix
Age: 8 years old
Fun Fact: He’s very vocal and communicative about what he wants!
Name: Annie Yokoyama and Mamo
Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Age: 6 months old
Fun Fact: Mamo loves to chase her sting ray tail, sometimes she even catches it!
